Report: Fishery Business Forum Held Successfully

On November 28, 2023, the Fisheries Business Forum under the title of “The Project for Economic Recovery through Promotion of Trade, Investment and Tourism in Pacific Countries” was held at the Nihonbashi Congress Square (Organizer PIC, Supporter : Fisheries Agency of Japan, JICA, OFCF and Marino Forum 21). This was PICs first lecture dedicated to the fisheries industry with nearly 50 people registered to attend.

Following the presentations by two experts each from Pacific Island Countries/Territories and Japan to promote new fishery-related businesses such as aquaculture between Japan and these countries and territories as described below, a lively Q&A session and networking among the speakers and participants were held.
