On Friday, October 23, 2026, the “FSM-Japan Business Forum,” organized by the Ministry of Resource Development of the Federated States of Micronesia, was held in Tokyo under the theme “Partnerships for a Sustainable Marine and Environmental Economy.”

Director Saito provided an update on PIC’s past initiatives regarding bilateral relations between the FSM and Japan, as well as information about the joint public-private economic mission to the Federated States of Micronesia scheduled for next February.
