On Tuesday, 9 September 2026, PIC visited the Embassy of Tonga in Japan and held talks with Ph.D. T. Suka Mangisi, the Tongan Ambassador to Japan. During the meeting, PIC exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including a report by the trade officer on her business trip to Tonga last July, as well as various initiatives aimed at further developing economic and business relations between Tonga and Japan. Both sides confirmed that they would strengthen their collaboration and work together to put the various projects discussed that day into practice.
