〔Report〕Pacific Discovery Project – Influencer Debriefing Event

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, we held a debriefing session in Kameido, Tokyo, for influencers and ambassadors who participated in the Pacific Discovery Project (PDP).

The event was divided into two parts. In the first session, ten travelers from seven countries shared their activities and memorable experiences during their visits. The second session featured a Q&A segment where speakers responded to questions from the audience. Around 50 guests attended, and the event proved to be a vibrant opportunity for sharing and engagement.

The person in charge of the project (PIC) commented, “The Pacific Island nations, which were once lesser-known travel destinations, have gained significantly more recognition. Moving forward, we hope to encourage even more people to visit these countries in person.” True to that intention, we heard enthusiastic reactions from attendees, with many saying they’d love to visit destinations like Tonga and Niue.

The PDP will continue sharing the charms and travel information of the Pacific Island nations. We encourage you to follow PIC’s Instagram and YouTube channels, and to spread the word among those who might be interested.

Wakaba and Naco, who were the first presenters, shared their surprising experiences from their assignment in Kiribati.
Despite the fact that the event took place on a warm early-summer Saturday afternoon, a large audience gathered and listened with great interest.
In the second part of the program, all the influencers and ambassadors took the stage together to answer questions from the audience.
