PIC Director Saito visited Tarawa, the capital of Kiribati, on June 20-24, the first visit by a PIC staff to the country since 2012.
He met each Secretary for Ministry of Tourism, Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives and Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources Development to discuss enhancing trade, investment and tourism between Kiribati and Japan.
It was agreed to cooperate especially on the development of tourism and fishery resources.
