On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, journalists from Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, and Palau visited PIC as part of the “FY2024 Foreign Press Invitation Program” implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Deputy Director briefed them on PIC’s business development in the areas of trade, investment, and tourism between Japan and Pacific Island Countries. The journalists also asked many questions, and a very lively exchange of opinions took place.

Although the visit lasted only about an hour, it was a very valuable time for the PIC to deepen their understanding of the PIC’s activities.
