From June 14 to 16 in 2022, ‘YOUTH KOKO PROGRAMME 3.0 TRAINING PROGRAMME’ was hosted by UNDP Samoa and Samoa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in Apia.
The workshop is conducted as one of activities of ‘COVID-19 Preparedness and Recovery: Diversification of the Economic Sector in Samoa’ run by UNDP Samoa funded by the government of Japan, providing about 34 young cacao farmers with opportunities to learn financing options and visit cacao-related facilities. PIC participated in the workshop on 15th and Ms. Matsui (Trade Officer) gave a presentation on cacao market in Japan and process of export/import.
