The PIC in collaboration with the Embassy of the Independent State of Samoa in Japan have hosted an online seminar titled “Pacific Islands Journey – The Independent State of Samoa” on 18th November 2021. This seminar has been certified as a commemorative project for the 9th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting(PALM9)to be held this summer.
Followed by the opening remarks by H.E. Mrs. Faalavaau Perina Jacqueline SILA-TUALAULELEI, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Independent State of Samoa to Japan, Dr. Kurosaki, Tokai University, made Samoa country brief as well as the attractiveness as tourist destination and the Samoa government officials made presentations on investment and trade opportunities. In addition, the three representatives from Samoa companies made presentations on their products.
