On October 21, Investment Fiji hosted the “FIJI-JAPAN INVESTMENT & TRADE MISSION 2021 FIJI-JAPAN TRADE WEBINAR”, and PIC Director Mr. Saito gave a lecture.
“FIJI-JAPAN TRADE & INVEST MISSION 2021” is an October-only initiative by the Fiji Investment Authority to promote trade and investment between Japan and Fiji. The webinar focused specifically on the expansion of trade.

The webinar started with the presentation by H.E. Mr. Kawakami, Ambassador of Japan to Fiji and Mr. Chetty, Acting CEO of Investment Fiji, followed by Mr. Saito’s lecture on “Opportunities for Exports Products in Japan and Promotion of Fiji’s Agricultural Products Export.” The main focus of his lecture was on the promotion of Fiji’s agricultural products (coffee, chocolate, ginger, turmeric, etc.) in the Japanese market. There were many questions from the Fijian participants, indicating the high level of interest in the Japanese market.
