On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the PIC visited the Embassy of the Republic of Fiji in Japan to pay a courtesy call o Ambassador-Designate H.E. Mr. Kemueli Naiqama. The PIC Director explained the organization’s structure and its activities related to the Pacific Island Countries and Fiji. In response, Ambassador-Designate Naiqama praised PIC’s various activities and expressed his desire to continue fostering mutual cooperation in the future.It was agreed that the two parties would collaborate on Fiji-related projects in fiscal year 2026.
