〔Report〕The 3rd Pacific Island Countries Business e-Seminar (Fortience Consulting × PIC) Successfully Held

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, the 3rd Pacific Island Countries Business e-Seminar, jointly organized by Fortience Consulting Inc. (formerly QUNIE Corporation) and the Pacific Islands Centre (PIC), entitled “A Pathway to Sustainable Business Entry Based on Research Reports: Waste Management, Environment, and Water Sectors ” was successfully held. (Number of registered participants: 60)

This seminar was designed based on the findings of a series of research projects conducted since 2023, with a particular focus on the waste management, environmental, and water sectors. Japanese companies currently operating in Pacific Island Countries shared their experiences, presenting concrete case studies on their initiatives to date, challenges faced on the ground, and future prospects.

During the Q&A session, participants exchanged views on common challenges faced by Pacific Island Countries and discussed approaches to addressing these issues. Practical initiatives and insightful perspectives were shared, making the session highly informative and engaging. The seminar also served as an opportunity to reaffirm that these sectors—essential to supporting the daily lives of people in Pacific Island Countries—are areas where Japanese technologies and expertise can make a significant contribution.

With this seminar, the three-part e-seminar series has now concluded. PIC will continue to provide information in various forms to support Japanese companies in identifying opportunities and entry points for business engagement in Pacific Island Countries.

We sincerely appreciate your continued interest and support.
