On March 12, 2026, in Tokyo, an　Business Networking Dinner was held between senior government officials from Pacific Island countries invited by Japan and representatives of Japanese private companies. The meeting was organized by the Pacific Islands Centre (PIC) in cooperation with relevant organizations.

The event took the form of a seated dinner, providing a relaxed setting for open and constructive discussions. Japanese companies gave brief overviews of their business activities, which were met with strong interest from the Pacific Island participants.

It is hoped that this exchange will contribute to deeper mutual understanding and lead to further consideration of concrete collaboration in the future.
