The PIC Trade Officer traveled to three states in FSM (Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae) from February 8 to 22.

During this trip, the PIC Trade Officer held extensive meetings with government officials, including representatives from the FSM Federal Government’s Ministry of Trade, Investment, and Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and state-level trade, investment, and tourism officials. Meetings were also held with the Chairman of the Pohnpei Chamber of Commerce and private sector representatives involved in businesses such as giant clams, pepper, and coffee. This trip expanded our network with FSM government and private sector stakeholders. Looking ahead to future business missions, we will work in collaboration with these partners to expand business between FSM and Japan.
