PIC Director Saito visited Nauru from November 17 to 22.

This marked PIC’s first visit to the country in eight years since 2017.

During this trip, extensive meetings were held with various government ministries including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Transport, and the Department of Commerce and Foreign Investment; state-owned enterprises such as Nauru Shipping Line; and private companies including Capelle & Partner. This visit has expanded PIC’s network with both public and private sector stakeholders in Nauru. We look forward to collaborating with all involved parties to work towards expanding business ties between Nauru and Japan.
