〔Report〕Fortience Consulting Inc. (formerly QUNIE Corporation) x PIC Joint Project Pacific Island Countries Business E-Seminar (2nd Session) “A Starting point for Sustainable Business Entry Based on Research Reports: Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food Sector” was held

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Fortience Consulting Inc. (formerly QUNIE Corporation) and Pacific Islands Centre (PIC) jointly held the second session of Pacific Island Countries Business e-Seminar, “A Pathway to Sustainable Business Entry Based on Research Reports: Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food Sector.” (Number of registered participants: 75) 

Following the first session, this seminar focused on the agriculture, fisheries, and food sectors based on the findings of the research report. Representatives from Japanese companies that are currently operating or considering expanding their businesses in Pacific Island countries shared their initiatives, challenges faced on the ground, and future prospects, accompanied by practical examples.

During the Q&A session, participants actively exchanged views on common challenges and potential solutions related to business development in Pacific Island countries. Many participants commented that the session provided “a concrete understanding of on-site realities” and that “examples from other sectors were highly informative.”

The third session of the seminar series is scheduled to be held within the fiscal year.
