
Pacific Island nations are gaining increasing geopolitical significance and attracting global attention as a strategic hub within the broader Pacific region. In this milestone year marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Papua New Guinea and Japan, the Papua New Guinea Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) will host a Trade & Investment Seminar in Japan.
Papua New Guinea is the largest and most populous country among the 14 Pacific Island nations, with a youthful demographic that presents promising investment potential. This seminar will feature participation from key government ministries involved in agriculture, fisheries, infrastructure, and other sectors, as well as relevant private enterprises, led by the Investment Promotion Authority. Attendees will gain insights into investment opportunities and prospects for strategic partnerships with Papua New Guinea.
