In the “The Project for Economic Recovery through Promotion of Trade and Investment in Pacific Countries”, which has been implemented from 2023 to 2024, with the aim of revitalising trade and investment between Japan and Pacific Island countries, “Trade Handbook 2024” (which summarizes procedures and issues relating to imports into Japan, as well as required documentation and inspection requirements) has been completed to assist in the promotion of trade between Japan and the island countries.

The handbook is available in both Japanese and English, so please make use of it if you are based in Pacific Island Country and considering exporting to Japan. It is packed with useful information.
