On Thursday, September 5, 2024, we visited the Embassy of the Federal States of Micronesia in Japan and met with Ambassador John Fritz and other official. The Director of PIC gave a detailed presentation on the current situation, challenges, and prospects for trade, investment, and tourism between Japan and the Federated States of Micronesia, based on a survey report conducted under the “Pacific Island Countries Economic Recovery Support Project”.

Ambassador Fritz explained the Embassy’s efforts in economic and sports exchanges as well as cooperation with the PALM&G.
Both parties are going to cooperate to expand business between the two countries, starting with tourism.
