~Pacific Island Countries Economic Recovery Project~ Investment Seminar “Survey Report on Pacific Island Countries and Business Development Case Study”

PIC (Pacific Islands Centre) together with PIFS (Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat) is conducting the “Pacific Island Countries Economic Recovery Project” with the support of the Japanese government, and as part of this project, we have decided to hold an investment seminar titled “Survey Report on Pacific Island Countries and Business Development Case Study”. Also, this seminar is certified as “PALM 10 (the 10th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting) Commemorative Project”.

In this seminar, we will report on the findings of Pacific Island Countries as part of this project and three companies, one from each subregion, will share their experiences in expanding into or planning to expand into the Pacific Island Countries. Additionally, Vanuatu Foreign Investment Promotion Authority (VFIPA) will deliver the investment environment in their country via video message.

Pacific Island Countries have been the focus of geopolitical attention in recent years, but many aspects of the economic situation and its potential, including the actual investment environment, are not well known. This seminar aims to offer a comprehensive overview of the unique characteristics and challenges of each Pacific Island Country.

We hope you will participate and find this an opportunity that will be helpful in developing your future business ventures.
