The Third Seminar of “Japan and Pacific Island Countries Glocal Tourism Network” (from now on called “Network”), The Starry Sky as a Tourism Resource and its Photography Techniques, will be held on 13 March 2024. The event details are as follows.

The third seminar theme is “The Starry Sky as a Tourism Resource and its Photography Techniques”.
The abundant stars shining in the night sky can be a unique attraction for travelers, an experience not attainable in cities.
In this third seminar, we invite Ms. Yamashita, a photographer and weekend adventurer travelling the world who lives in Los Angeles while working as a VFX (Visual Effects technology) artist for Hollywood movies.

She will share her techniques for beautifully capturing the starry sky with a camera, as well as ideas and tips on how to attract tourists using the starry sky pictures. She will also talk about how to promote the starry skies as a tourism resource from her unique perspective.
