On 14 February 2024, PIC held an online Kick-off meeting with participants of FOODEX2024 which will be held in 5 to 8 March at Tokyo Big Sight.

A total of 9 people attended the meeting, including 6 companies from pacific island countries (Tonga, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Niue) who will introduce their products at the PIC booth (Pacific Island Countries Pavilion) and members from Japan who will support the event. After the greeting by PIC Director Saito, the participants introduced themselves and talked about their enthusiasm for participating in the program.
