On 12 January 2024, PIC held an online Kick-off meeting with participants of COSME TOKYO 2024 which will be held in 17 to 19 January at Tokyo Big Sight.

A total of 11 people attended the meeting, including 6 companies from pacific island countries (Fiji, Solomon Islands, Palau, Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, and Cook Islands) who will introduce their products at the PIC booth (Pacific Island Countries Pavilion) and members from Japan who will support the event. After the greeting by PIC Director Saito, the participants introduced themselves and talked about their enthusiasm for participating in the program.
