Pacific Island Countries’ Mission visiting PIC with the UNDP Pacific Office

On Friday, October 6, more than a dozen members of the Pacific Island Countries Mission, led by the Government of Fiji, who are visiting Japan on a border control digitalization project, visited PIC with the UNDP Pacific Office

After the group’s visit to the PIC exhibition room, Director Saito gave a presentation on the activities of PIC and the current status and future prospects of trade, investment, and tourism between Japan and Pacific Island Countries, and a livery Q&A followed.
Finally, Leader Mr. Mason Smith (Representative of the Fiji Government, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration) expressed his gratitude for PIC’s business support to Pacific Island Countries and his hope to deepen exchanges in the future.
