On Saturday, June 24, 16 students from the Takase Seminar (Development Economics Research), School of Commerce, Waseda University, visited PIC with Professor Takase and Professor Emeritus Sasaki.

After visiting the PIC show-room, PIC Director Saito gave a lecture on the history and activities of PIC and current trade and economic issues between Japan and Pacific Island Countries at a conference room.
During the Q&A session, there was a lively exchange on a wide range of topics, including export products, renewable energy, and tourism.
