On August 29, H.E. Filimone Waqabaca, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Fiji to Japan, visited PIC with other embassy staff.
After viewing Fijian products in the showroom, they had an hour-long discussion with Mr. Saito, PIC’s Director, and others. Mr. Saito explained the activities of PIC and the current status of trade, investment, and tourism between Fiji and Japan. In response, Ambassador Waqabaca expressed his gratitude to the PIC for its economic missions and seminars, and offered various opinions on the promotion of trade and investment between Fiji and Japan.
Finally, both parties agreed to further strengthen the cooperation between the Fiji Embassy in Japan and PIC.
