February 10th 2022, PIC held a Kick-off meeting with participants of FOODEX2022 which will be held in coming March.
Participants are business partners from the Pacific Island Countries(Vanuatu, Fiji, French Polynesia), Japanese businesses, PIC intern and volunteers who will attend to PIC booth on behalf of Pacific Island businesses.
After the opening remarks from PIC Director Saito, participants had self-introduction sessions and shared action plan and schedule towards the event.
This time, under the circumstances of Covid-19, PIC booth will be set based on the hybrid-form of the exhibition that staff from the business in the Pacific Island Countries will remotely join the exhibition, while products are displayed at the venue in Makuhari.
