Report: Covid-19 impacts and perspectives on tourism sector in the Pacific ~Global tourism trends / Impact on the Pacific Island Countries / The current tourism situation of the Republic of Palau~

The PIC in collaboration with Palau Visitors Authority Japan Office and UNWTO Regional Support Office for Asia and the Pacific have hosted an online seminar titled “Covid-19 impacts and perspectives on tourism sector in the Pacific” on 16th December 2021.

Followed by the opening remarks by Mr. Ryuzo Saito, Director at PIC, Ms. Derrier at UNWTO Headquarters, Ms. Takahashi at PIC, and Mr. Shibamura at Palau Visitors Authority Japan Office, gave lectures on each topic related tourism current status. Please refer to the seminar programs as follows.
