PIC organized an online seminar titled “Pacific Islands Journey ~ the Federated States of Micronesia~ ” with 100 registered participants on 18 June 2021. This seminar has been certified as a commemorative project for the 9th Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting（PALM9）to be held this summer.
Followed by the opening remarks by H.E. Mr. John Fritz, Ambassador of the Federated States of Micronesia to Japan, the FSM government officials made presentations on investment opportunities and introduced the attractiveness as the tourist destination. In addition, Ms. Yuriko Aoki, World’s local cuisine researcher, gave a lecture on traditional FSM cuisine. In this seminar, approaching from multiple perspectives helped us to understand FSM more deeply.
