PIC has organized an online seminar, “The current and future issues of PNG business situation in the aftermath of COVID-19” on July 2020 for the first time, jointly with UNIDO ITPO Tokyo.

In this online seminar, after PIC Director Saito’s opening speech, Dr. Kurosaki, Tokai University, gave a lecture on the role of Japan for the future of PNG business and the current situation under Covid-19.
Mr. Hoot, Managing Director, Investment Promotion Authority, PNG, explained how to proceed investment related issues and updated investment opportunities in PNG. In response to questions from the audience, each speaker expressed their views.
At the end of the seminar, Ms. Matsui, Trade Officer, PIC, introduced the products from PNG. Those product companies are seeking opportunities for exporting their products into Japan.
